While I , as much as any of my fellow searchers, would love to know the answers ( that Forrest already knew) we are not owed anything. Not from Forrest. Not from Jack. Not from the Fenn family. We chose to search for a treasure we knew may or may not be found in our lifetimes or ever for that matter. Forrest said as much. And he never once said once solved that he or the finder would reveal the location, NEVER. He alluded to the fact that HE would know if it was found. He also felt that whomever finds it won't be able to keep it to themselves, but he never said- once it is solved all my searchers will be told the answer. I guess maybe I don't have sour grapes because due to Forrest and my family searching for the treasure, three of my children are now spending the summer working in Yellowstone. This to me is infinitely more precious than if we had even found the treasure. I thank Forrest from the bottom of my heart for introducing us to what I hope will be a lifelong adventure.

Well Ralph, just to point out the obvious- you commented on my post. Not the other way around. Sour grapes don't look good on you sir. Yep. It is short. Too bad Forrest Fenn duped so many people into wasting their time. It’s chilling to see that people like yourself seem to have no problem with that.

kellitwiss's avatar

That would be cold wouldn't it? The thing is, I don't think he duped us. I think he hid a chest, put out a book, poem and map to help us find it and after that it was all on us in how we handled it. I admit I was completely obsessed with the Chase and still am in many ways, but I always knew I may never know the answers, and even though I do still try to figure it out, see if I was right or wrong- I know full well I may never even know wwwh, let alone where the chest was. In my family's case we had the best possible outcome- exactly what Forrest really was trying to do - get kids off their texting machines. Mission accomplished, my son was on the computer 16 hours a day. This summer he is just about technology free and living in Yellowstone Canyon . It's a change that never would have happened without the Chase and I believe there are a lot of other stories like ours. I know that's not as sensational as coverage of death and deceit, but I wish that aspect was front and center, not just the bad stuff. If you are like me and spent tons of time on this I am sure you can redirect that energy and brain power to something else that will bring you enjoyment! The stock market is an endless treasure hunt, so much to learn about and research, it's worth trying! Maybe make a million or two there, it can happen! Wishing you the best Ralph!

No Bud, Forrest was a hero. Listen good now!

The Thrill Of The Chase by Forrest Fenn matches up directly, and precisely corresponding to:

Thrill Of The Chase 1.61 Superman.

Because Forrest gave us the hint that we were Looking For Lois Lane and Clark Kent (Looking For Lewis and Clark) and looking for a Marvel Gaze of other heroes also.

Thrill Of The Chase Scene 1.61 is the Clark KENT on Forrest's secret grave marker. The TITLE to the GOLD is and was Superman, Clark Kent.

That's the solution to this treasure hunt.

I found Clark Kent in Palisade Sill Cimarron Canyon and I'm the Man from Back East Forrest announced as so.

I've come to represent Mr Forrest Burke Fenn and myself as the victims of the biggest Scandalous cover-up treasure hunt end in history. But a guy from Back East caught all of them in their schemes and deceit.

So Thrill Of The Chase 1.61 Superman scene, was title. And I own it.

Which is also happens to be the solution, that's what the title is!

The TITLE TO THE GOLD!

Superman at the treasure of gold.

But also Forrest's Action Comics #1

Forrest's Thrill Of his chase!

The Thrill Of The Chase and

Thrill Of The Chase 1.61 Superman are umbilical to Forrest's Thrill of the Chase!

This is over and the evidence already proves fraud and murder by Forrest and his family.

Signing off.

Forrest Fenn absolutely did not betray his followers, he was betrayed by someone who was closest to him.

There's answers to everything that happened to the ending of the Chase and beyond, but folks aren't willing to accept the inevitable.

A very extensive package of evidence has been sent to the FBI and to the Santa Fe Police department to get to the bottom of the Chase truth. I have an explanation here.

Video footage of the very first search at the location the 3 million dollar treasure chest was originally buried at and then stolen from in 2019.

Palisades Sill Cimarron Canyon NM was Forrest Fenn's Fortress of Solitude!

Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of superheroes and Comic book references.

Do you remember wondering where the Forrest Fenn treasure was REALLY hidden?

The secret is out. "The Thrill of the Chase" book was finally deciphered. Forrest Fenn used canyons and mountains as hints to help find his treasure. Hundreds of them have been found in his book.

The hints point to a cover-up, and reveal a secret message: the treasure wasn't hidden in Wyoming.

Hundreds of facts (not thoughts, not opinions) can be found at thethrilloftheend.com

These are 100% indisputable, undeniable, concrete facts that can be verified by anyone, INCLUDING YOU, right now!

I am the true solver of the forest friend treasure hunt poem I didn't go retrieve it because people have been trying to murder me since 1998 and one day in August 2019 I did go up there to retrieve it and it began to thunder and lightning quite brilliantly. I took that as the spirits that led me there to begin with telling me not to retrieve the treasure chest likely for a reason. Then I told people where to go get it but I said I wanted a 15% finders fee and a whole mess of people did show up where I said it was and then it all sudden it was found but somehow it was found in Wyoming???!!! No. People are hacking into my emails and erasing my emails from me to Forrest fan I got a notice from Google of all people places or things. And they have sent hundreds of Hitman after me since last year and the Federal protective services has picked every single one of them off. Seriously, would you trade places with Jack? I think that publicity was an obvious outcome.

I do not need the treasure & have no interest in that mess so I freely share the specific information. I know it sounds over complicated, but there are several paths to the same ending that intersect. Fenn said the solution would be hard, but not impossible. His book is heavy with numbers & he said to take a GPS so the use of coordinates is critical. Just like they are to a pilot. Fenn repeated pie, broken pie, cow pies, etc often because it is necessary to pay attention to what the numbers tell you. Pi = 3.14159.

Mr. LaRosa, in your article above you state that Forrest Fenn said that if you followed the 9 clues in his poem that it would lead you to the treasure chest and it would be yours to keep. That is an outrageous lie! How do I KNOW? Perhaps you and I could discuss it.

3dsp1415926535's avatar

The poem and maps alone actually CAN get a searcher to the solution. I did not look outside the forest border that first visit but I did take a GPS and noted the spot. Broken Pi. My search was interrupted & had to retreat that day. The "headstone" rock laying flat on the ground was only 53'W & 18' S of the "tired" mark. There is a lot of sagebrush and even the "tired" mark is not visible unless one is almost upon it.

Using TTOTC adds more parameters. Like the mention of Lapis Lazuli which is found in only 2 U.S. states & only 1 is in Rockies: Colorado. Wyoming is a distraction. Fenn has images visible in satellite maps (GoogleMaps) in his little corner of the national forest with a Spanish name. There is a large vector (triangle flag) outlined by trails pointing to blaze that reads: I F L Y below it. SE of that is a neg/pos image of Fenn's face wearing a fur hat like in the book. There are many images from stories there.

A green frog w/ crooked leg (like his bell) points toward an area w/ 2 Omegas & #s 32 5. These used to reach next area by copying previous mirrored GPS hint led to a "pin toe" area N of blaze. Nearby it reads: titLE , edda (Norse poem) nigh (in lowercase script) next to a tepee image. The 2 boots invert to each other like a jigsaw puzzle. The final clue was: "Begin Race. See Ace and Bel" so I went back to "tired" spot. Sure enough, just steps away on the outside of the forestry border, but still w/in BLM land was the spot.

High up in the satellite image is framed w/ 2 dark lines w/ a Spade and a Bell, part of what looks like leg of a white frog. Closer in the leg looks like a cat, the bell being its mouth, licked by its tongue. Closer magnification reveals the exact position of the clapper. The center of that clapper is the exact spot. Upon visiting that again, the weathered wood marking a giant X is seen, w/ the lightning bolt toward the WSW.

The #s repeat the only # Fenn literally spelled out in TTOTC--seventy-nine--on pg 15. Only pg in GIANT font that ends w/ an *. Fenn muses on his becoming aware & of the success of his plan. The solution uses 79 backwards & forwards, interspersed w/ the # for letter R (for heart) like the lyrics to song that is huge to Texans: Deep In the Heart of Texas, + all the clapping. Like the clapper. Clap in Spanish is timbre. In the wood. In the xxxx Gulch. (the answer is in this comment) Fenn fashioned clappers for his hand sculpted bells out of nails said to have been from a sunken Spanish galleon. Thus, the clappers are nails. In finding the solution I "nailed it" and the lightning bolt laying out from there is Thor's hammer striking the nail, or ringing the bell.

Several other images/clues hinted at Buddy Holly, a famous Texan from Lubbock known for wearing horn-rimmed glasses, who had 2 hit songs before dying in a plane crash in Iowa. In a Beech Bonanza, like Fenn's. His #3 song was Peggy Sue (hint toward Fenn's Ode to Peggy Jean) & more hints. His #1 hit song was That'll Be the Day (that I die) & Holly was born on 7th of 9th month / Fenn died on 7th of 9th month.

More clues derived from the solution hint to 2 people I suspect are Fenn's biological parents. A noted fighter pilot who became famous directing & producing movies (an Ace) & a woman born into extreme wealth who became a journalist, a translator, & a spy (a Belle) never married but collaborated on a noted documentary of indigenous people in Africa, called "Grass" & were rumored to be having an affair. One was born in '79, the other died at age 79. The last names of both are significant to the town. The 2nd documentary made was "The Four Feathers" & Fenn's blaze looks like the L profile of an Indian Chief in full headdress, hinted at by hand drawn dachshund ear w/ feather tucked under it & wearing an Indian blanket. On its collar is an Omega w/ 2 boots dangling. Astrological hints involve Alpha Bootes. Specifically, Arcturus (imaged by double triangle or TX Ranger badge) to Orion (imaged by kite.)

Fenn's "Catcher in the Rye" final resting place looks like an Ojo, or dreamcatcher, that touches the Rye grass growing in the forest fen.

Fenn knew I unraveled this last summer & no interested in the treasure, only the solution. Then Fenn died on 7th of 9th month in 2020 which is known to represent perfect vision--no glasses needed. His wife died days later on Oct 4. That is 10-4. Radio code for "understood" and letter code to J D. As in J.D. Salinger, author of "Catcher in the Rye" whose favorite movie was 39 Steps.

P.S. The "Marvel gaze" is SW of solution. Several white lines spread up & out from that point to capture the solution & the Orion "eye" which has the identical W GPS coordinate as the solution. The top are sections--5 or 6 as Fenn wrote. Fairies dancing around... The painting Fenn traded the dying dog bleeding out on the wooden bridge that he paid too much for. That one is visible in satellite image incorporating the runway on the L edge of your screen.

Steps away from the helipad at the airport looks to be a tree stump that looks like a boot. The opening uses these decimal points: xx.220160 & xxx.314159 -- 22 turquoise stones in cuff & Pi.

Ironically, over the Memorial Day weekend a movie by the suspected biological father was on TCM called Ace of Aces. Several matches to Fenn as does The Four Feathers. His Wikipedia page links to the woman.

The fish hatchery page with the curiously mirrored GPS #s w/ topographical map link which shows the Ugly Old Biddies & matches lines on dachshund drawing close to tiny fly fisherman S of boot-shaped lake, I suspect was authored by Fenn himself as the "wizard" (Wiki editors are called wizards) hinted at something big there (profile pg) in the future.

I have many more hints that repeat or overlap.

Fenn dreamed of spending eternity "Dancing With the Stars" reunited w/ his family.

LaRosa is wrong, of course: it was *NOT* a contest--- it was a puzzle to be solved. Airman Fenn did not "owe" the treasure hunters anything, let alone the solution to the nine clues. There was no "moral contract" between him and us hunters (And WTF does that even mean? Morals are arbitrary social precepts). We were not "cheated:" everyone who paid attention knew everything they needed to know. It is time to leave Forrest Fenn alone.

Semantics

Expand full comment
Desertphile's avatar

Semantics are necessary. Airman Fenn owed us nothing after he published his book: a "moral contract" did not and does not exist. Most seekers were and are adults: it was their task to moderate their own behaviors--- if they need "closure," talking to a certified counselor should be near the top of their "to do" list.

There will likely be one final Fennboree, and we will destroy the Golden Fenn; the banners; the shrines for the dead seekers. We will also toast the old goat as a way of saying "Good-bye" to him and his amazing treasure hunt.

Yes. Stuef is a prop. I know the solution because I nailed it--as only the solver would understand.

The solution is evidenced in period GoogleMaps by geoglyphs that match every story in "The Thrill of The Chase" and were obviously created and/or enhanced by Fenn. Page 15 is huge hint.

Some satellite picture hints show visible letters or numbers, but most are pictures. Also hints are star formations of Aug / Sep 2020.

The exact location of solution is in the poem. In code. The book is heavy with numbers for a reason. Fenn wrote a lot about the eye-view as a pilot and especially how the image can change upon closer view. Look with magnification. Look with imagination, like an artist or an ad man.

Proof is currently actively obscured from public. Because it foretold the date of his death. And explains the reason for the hair sample (DNA) left in the chest. And yes, there is an X. And a lightning bolt.

Fenn knew I unraveled the hunt in summer of 2020 and I did not want the treasure. I saw it as a burden--which it obviously is--and suggested it could be retrieved for better use.

Fenn knew all the evidence can still be found, so yes, he knew it would come out eventually. Long time searchers collaborating with each other pull in a hundred wrong directions. Fenn laid out several lines to reach the solution. I have found many, but even more could be there too.

I restricted myself to only the online article in March 2018 that introduced me to the hunt and to the poem. I ordered the book on the chase, but received it after I had found the "tired" spot 5 days later at "broken pie" or to be precise, broken Pi.

Fenn's drawing of the dachshund is important hint. The ear is the blaze. The shape, the color, the feather. Dead center of the blaze uses 2 numbers as its vector: 1413 & 1965. Those are Fenn's home address as per student ID card pic & the year (using a calculation) Fenn claimed he won the turquoise cuff.

There is a miniature figure on the shoulder of the dog drawing. A fly fisherman. That is the location of the fish hatchery. The topography lines match a topo map linked to page in Wikipedia, the source for many of Fenn's "lessons" to his hunt. The topo map leads to the Ugly Old Biddies story with a visual Y X Y matchup to mirrored GPS code.

Another picture in TTOTC that is important is Fenn with his fighter jet. The one with a nose sticker that reads: I ♥ Lubbock. That, & Bible verse Matt 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" will take you to 2nd half of solution.

I have tons of evidence. Including satellite pictures of images from each Fenn story. But before I ever read the book TTOTC, I hiked directly to the blaze and found the "tired" spot just 5 days after learning of the hunt. Information from the poem, article, & maps. It took me 2 1/2 days to figure it out. I know the solution to 6 decimal points.

The "tired" mark is 50' E & 18' N of X and 53' E & 18' N of the headstone shaped stone on the edge, flat on the ground.

The "tired" mark straddles the forest "border" from the blaze & the solution. It is 6' pile of large white stones encircled by clumps of small Aspens touching the edge of a fen in the national forest that grows thick with Rye grass & willows--I alone, Forrest Fenn--the 1st clue. Weathered logs mark an X at the exact Vector. A jagged line of more wood rums WSW like a bolt of lightning. The spot looks like an Ojo, or dream catcher. Fenn's "Catcher in the Rye" -- the title he gives you.

I listened to Fenn's words. I wanted to share the solution with those who have searched for a long time and really want to know. Since the solve I have read other comments.

What is crazy is most of the wild talk among searchers who think that since they have looked for a decade that they know more and are somehow closer to the solution and dismiss the solution.

Fenn said the one solving the hunt would know they found it & would go directly to the spot with assurance.
