Go tell that to people who have lost their business, losing money and declaring bankruptcy. You’re an absolute moron to not know how much money these tourists add to the economy but keep living in your bubble
You acknowledge the impact of tourism on broadway. You know how many people are employed by that sector? Yet you don’t want tourists to return? How livable will NYC be for those dependent on broadway without the tourist. And you been living in nyc just fine with the tourist. Tourist or no tourist NYC is still “livable” for you.
And the only reason you can muster up to welcome tourist is that you want to travel and be a tourist yourself. Is the tens (of not hundreds) of thousands employed in hospitality not reason enough to welcome tourist back?
You’re a curmudgeon... but with a heart 👍

I do but I prefer a livable city. 65 million is too many IMO. Lucky for you, I’m not in charge :)
